OMEGA at Pennsylvania State College has as its president this year W. Randall Skillen, Jr., '34, captain of the varsity tennis team. He won the freshman tennis tournament his first year and made the varsity team in his sophomore and junior years, losing very few matches. He is a member of Phi Mu Alpha, music fraternity, the Glee Club, and of the famous Penn State Blue Band. John P. Schwenk, '35, assistant manager on the gym team, is on the Student Council. Omega's cross country team placed second in the intramural cross country meet. Joseph S. Alexander was the third man on the varsity cross country team and won his letter; he was also elected to the Skull and Bones, campus honorary. Chester V. Harbison, '35, joined Scarab, architecture honorary. Louis W. Mattis and William A. Lange were initiated into Alpha Delta Sigma and were also elected to the business staff of Old Main Bell, along with Ernest D. Wilby, '34, circulation manager of the campus literary magazine. Samuel N. Baxter, Jr., '35, is a member of the Penn State Glee Club. S. Bruce Gilliard, '35, is on the varsity basketball squad.
