2015 Theta Chi of Penn State Alumni Board Elections - Vote!
It is time once again time to elect members for the Alumni Board of Theta Chi of Penn State. Below you will find the nominated candidates and a short bio about each of them. You may vote for five of the seven candidates at the Homecoming Alumni meeting, Saturday October 10th or if you cannot make the meeting you may email davidhartwich@gmail.com with your selections. Theta Chi of Penn State Alumni President
Chris Burke '93 – Chris graduated in 1993 with a degree in accounting. He worked for Bear Stearns, Morgan Stanley, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a licensed CPA. He is currently the CEO of the Maxus Group, and has been a Theta Chi Board Member and Treasurer since 2008.
Jason Jonas ‘15 – Was an active undergraduate brother for 3 years. He held the following positions: Greek Week, THON Chair, IM chair, Historian, Alumni Relation, and Vice President. He also helped plan the Gala with other alumni. Jason graduated in 2015 with a degree in Secondary Education Mathematics. Jason would like to continue his tradition of being involved and active with the fraternity as an alumnus and hopes to be given the chance to hold a position on the board.
Ian Maxwell ’10 – Pledged Theta Chi in fall of 2010, and graduated in Spring 2014 with a BS in Accounting. While an undergrad, he spent two years on the executive board, serving as president in 2013. Ian currently resides in the Philadelphia area and work at SEI Investments as a hedge fund portfolio analyst.
Aaron Speagle ’12 – Joined Theta Chi in fall of 2009, and held a number of positions during his undergraduate studies, including Recruitment, Historian, House manager, THON chair, and Marshal. He graduated in December of 2012, with a BS in Nuclear Engineering. Aaron is currently employed as a Nuclear Engineer at Newport News Shipbuilding, where he supports maintenance on US NAVY submarine prototypes. He resides with his new wife (7/18/15) in Norfolk, VA.
Dave Stoltzfus ’13 – Graduated in 2013 with a degree in Supply Chain Management. During his time as an undergrad brother, he served as treasurer, scholarship chair, recruitment chair, Greek week chair, and danced for Theta Chi at THON 2013. After graduating, he worked for Lockheed Martin in their Operations Leadership Development Program living in Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia. He currently works for Boeing in Seattle, WA as a Procurement Agent / Cost Reduction Project Manager.
Kyle Sussman ’14 – Graduated Penn State in 2014 with a BS in Economics and currently works at SEI Investments in Oaks, PA in their Securities Operations Department. While at Theta Chi, he served as Treasurer and Vice President as well as many other positions.
Kevin Trippel ’14 – joined Theta Chi in the Fall of 2010 as a freshman. During his four years as a brother, he served as Alumni Relations chair, Marshall, and President, all while pursuing his degree in Mechanical Engineering. Since graduating in the spring of 2014, Kevin has been working as a Technology and Infrastructure Consultant for Accenture in Philadelphia.
