The board of directors is elected every two years by alumni, in accordance with the by-laws of the alumni corporation. Below are the brothers running for the Board of Directors of Theta Chi of Penn State, Inc. Please vote for no more than five (5).
Chris Burke '93 - Chris graduated in 1993 with a degree in accounting. He worked for Bear Stearns, Morgan Stanley, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a licensed CPA. He is currently the CEO of the Maxus Group, and has been a Theta Chi Board Member and Treasurer since 2008.
Jeff Damcott ’91, ’94 Turfgrass Management. I have been in the golf course construction and management industry for over 20 years, most recently the Superintendent of a public golf course in Yardley, PA. I have been an active alumni supported of the fraternity since my graduation. I currently serve the capital campaign committee and I am serving as the alumni on site project liaison for the porch renovation.
Tyler Doppelheuer '12 - My name is Tyler "Dopp" Doppelheuer and I am a 2012 graduate from Agricultural Sciences. It is a pleasure to have been nominated for the alumni board, I know that there have been many qualified nominees. During my time at Penn State, I held several prominent positions around campus and several positions in Omega chapter. I am a member of the Foundation Chapter, was a recipient of the "Outstanding Senior" award from Theta Chi-Omega, served as the chair of service and involvement for several semesters, and I have been very active nationally. Most recently, I have been very active in the efforts to restore Theta Chi Fraternity at the University of Pittsburgh and at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dave Hartwich '09 - Dave graduated in 2009 and 2011 with degrees in Materials Science and Engineering. He currently works as a R&D engineer for ANH Refractories in Pittsburgh, PA. He has served on the alumni board for the past two years.
Jeremy Railing '11 - Jeremy Railing is a member of the graduating Class of 2011. During his time as an undergraduate brother, he served as Treasurer, Vice President, and President. He is currently working as a Supply Planning Analyst for The Hershey Company and continuing his education toward an MBA from Penn State Harrisburg. He is pleased with the progress our fraternity has made, and he is excited to continue to be a part of the fraternity's success.
Timothy Uhrich '09 - I joined Omega chapter in the Spring of 2006. As an undergraduate, I served the fraternity as recruitment chair, social chair, marshal, and campus involvement chair and lived in the chapter house for 3 memorable years. After graduating in May of 2009, I worked for a year as a Leadership and Education Consultant for Theta Chi Fraternity International Headquarters, attended regional and national fraternity conferences, and traveled to chapters throughout the Northeast and Midwest. I work professionally in higher education, completing a Master's of Education in College Student Affairs at Rutgers University in 2012, and I am currently employed as a Residence Hall Director in the Office of Residential Life at Iona College in New Rochelle, New York.
