2nd Place Finish in Greek Week
During the week of April 17th, Omega Chapter was involved with the Penn State IFC/Panhellenic/ MPHC Greek Week, themed "Lions with Letters, United Together." Theta Chi teamed up with Alpha Omicron Pi and Alpha Tau Omega for the week and finished 2nd as a triad out of 22.
Under the triad theme, "PSU's Best Greek Week Ever," the triad competed in volleyball, basketball, soccer, and tug-of-war, as well as philanthropic work in the AIDS Walk and Day of Service. During the week, there were other events that members of the triad attended like the Greek Pageant, Variety Show, Red Cross Blood drive (many gave for their first time!), and a Penn State baseball game.
The week came to a close on Friday at the Red Bull Chariot Race where we not only placed 2nd, but won the Greek Spirit Award for having the most creativity and enthusiasm. Our very own Brent Homcha pulled his weight in the race and rumor had it he chugged 5 red bulls before each race!
