George W. Chapman, national treasurer, recently enjoyed the experience of assisting in the initiation of his son by Omega Chapter. This son is now in service. 

Lt. W. Browning., Lt. (jg) Carl A. Korn, is at sea after attending Indoctrination School at Harvard, spending a few weeks at Brooklyn Navy yard, and then attending the Diesel School at Cornell.

SIXTEEN THETA CHIS representing eleven chapters were members of a single graduating class from the Midshipman's School at the University of Notre Dame last all.. They are shown in this picture ready to receive their commissions as ensigns before taking an active part in World War ll. Included among them ere some outstanding athletes and campus leaders. With them is Ensign Gordon A. Hardy, Michigan, '41, an instructor in the school and a part of the public relations stall. He made a name for himself in the field of music at Michigan, both as a writer of songs used in cam productions and as the leader of a dance band. How he is on board a ship somewhere in the Pacific.
