Rushing Minus House Difficult - Omega Chapter Eager for New Quarters—Knight Outstanding in Dramatics —Pledges Out for Track - By F. G. THOMPSON

Pennsylvania State College, October 12.—The following were recently pledged by Omega Chapter: Harry D. Greiner, 419 Montier Rd., Glenside; Ernest R. Wright, 2667 Cherry St., Erie; Jennings F. Stright, 3254 Wainbell Ave., South Hills Station, Pittsburgh; Albert A. Frey, 6940 N. 12th St., Philadelphia; Frank R. Baird, 130 Lacy St., and Edward D. Walter, 309 N. Walnut St., West Chester.—Rushing without a house is a very awkward proposition. We offer this advice to other chapters that they may benefit by arranging differently their house building program. We are all dining at the Green Room, the old Penn State Cafe, until our new house is in readiness.—Knight and Conard were in the Penn State Players' opening comedy, 'Is Zat So?" The former has had a long and successful career before the flood lights starting his freshman year and continuing into his senior year. He has played in "Mr. Lazarus," "Full House," and "Medea," a Greek tragedy by Sophocles. He also has had major parts in "Yellow Triangle," which was taken to the Intercollegiates at Drexel, and the "Poor Nut," and he played with Omega's most outstanding actor, Benjamin Franklin Ricker, '27, in the Greek tragedy, "Oedipus Rex." In the past summer Brother Knight was chosen by the dramatic department to direct "Rehearsal" and "Meet the Missus." —Heil is now a R. O. T. C. captain.—Maize starts training for the wrestling team next week. Decker was elected for Blue Key. Suerken is in the base section of the Glee Club. Booth is on the sophomore staff of the "Old Main Bell." Carson and White are on the sophomore editorial staff while Schwenk and Sinclair are on the sophomore business staff of the Collegian. Sinclair demonstrated his high powered salesman-ship by tying for first place selling subscriptions to the college paper. Schwenk, Keene, and Hazzard are preparing for the boxing season.—Pledges Baird, Greiner, and Wright are struggling for berths in track. Baird is a quarter miler, Greiner a one or two miler, and Wright a pole vaulter.
