About Us

The Omega Chapter at Penn State was founded in 1919. Since then, we have strived to uphold the standards of our fraternity to the highest extent and to project a positive image of greek life to the surrounding community. Below are the values that Omega Chapter believes and practices.

Brotherhood

Friendship is the basis of brotherhood. Thus, brotherhood is the most important aspect of any fraternity. Without a sense of brotherhood the other aspects of a fraternity either cannot exist, or do not matter to the group. Your time spent as an active brother of Theta Chi will produce lifelong friends. This not only helps with networking, but it provides personal support groups as we go through life that help us conquer any situations that arise.

Academics

Our maxim: "Alma Mater First and Theta Chi for Alma Mater". The Pennsylvania State University provides students with an education that will help them to succeed in life. We provide our members with the environment and encouragement to excel academically. Our chapter consistently holds cumulative GPAs above the All-University average. We make every effort to recruit new members to carry on our academic excellence.

Athletics

Theta Chi has maintained a strong involvement in intramural sports. We participate in any sport that has interest among the brothers. Our top sport is IM Volleyball. We consistently win the IM Championship. No matter what your sport of choice is, you can find a way to play.

Leadership

Our fraternity has numerous leadership positions that provided incredible experience. From our deep campus involvement connections to our sterling Inter Fraternity Council reputation, our brotherhood holds countless leadership roles across Penn State.
